Beth Alonso

A little about me:  

I moved to Fairfield, Iowa in 1982 and attended high school and university there (and also attended the University of Iowa for grad school). Before moving to Iowa, I lived in many parts of the U.S. and after my undergrad I spent 7 years living and working in Europe. After all that traveling though, I discovered that I really love the small town charm of my hometown of Fairfield! One of the things I’m excited to offer as a Realtor for Ruhl&Ruhl is my Relocation Services — to or from anywhere in the world, and I’d love to bring more people to Fairfield and surrounding areas so we can grow and THRIVE! 

I’m married and have two kids. My husband, Ricardo is originally from Aguas Calientes (Hot Springs), Mexico and together we have a side business in residential and office real estate rentals, property renovations and new construction. So although I just became a Realtor in 2020, I have over 15 years of prior experience in property development, management and marketing.  

We’ve had our share of ups and downs in life, and the way I see it, there’s always an opportunity in every challenge and a way to make things work out in your favor in the end. Let me help you make the absolute best of whatever housing situation you are in now to get you to where you want to be!

I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Art, and have a broad range of previous work experience: stained glass painter, jeweler, retail sales, customer service, Ayurvedic masseuse, teacher, and administrative assistant. On occasion, I do some Madonnari street chalk art for outdoor public events for fun. I have a passion for helping people and devote many hours of my free time leading service projects in my community and abroad.
